The Astaro Web Application Firewall adds a scanning engine and attack pattern recognition to the Web Application Security suite of tools. The patterns are kept current using Astaro Up2Date technology, and are downloaded and applied in real time to keep you protected automatically. Many products of this type require extensive training by the administrator and try to make sure that they understand all areas of the techniques, the patterns which identify and stop them. Administrators may not have the time to learn all about how a security product designed to stop these attacks should be configured and put in place protecting their servers. Our approach changes that.

Delivered to the administrator as a configuration menu, you can simply choose the protections you want to apply without dealing with pages of complex patterns and endless configuration screens to activate the protection and have it operate correctly.

Creating a security profile can be done by any admin, and in minutes your servers will be protected from attacks like SQL injection and Cross Site Scripting (XSS), and you do not have to become an expert in this area during the process!
