For true disaster recovery solutions, Unitrends’ Data Protection Vault™ (DPV) provides electronic, media-less, offsite protection for all your data and systems at a cost-effective price point. The DPV eliminates the manual process of keeping copies of your critical data and systems off-site.

Every time your systems are backed up using a Unitrends DPU, all blocks of data changed since the last backup are automatically compressed, optionally encrypted, and transmitted via the Internet to the offsite DPV, located at a remote location or hosted site. The vault thus contains a full copy of your most current data. Multiple DPUs can be connected to a single DPV. This electronic vaulting eliminates the need for removing, transporting and storing backup tapes. And in the event of a real disaster, you can carry out a straight forward recovery process, and then gain immediate access to your backup data.
